Jugend präsentiert homepage and competition platform
“Jugend präsentiert” strengthens students' presentation skills. Participants use the website to register for competitions, book offers, and submit travel expenses. In the backend, employees manage all processes using specially developed views. As a result, almost everything in the project is now digital.

Challenge
Anyone called “Jugend präsentiert” (Youth Presents) should also present themselves convincingly. Fresh, clear, and appealing. That was exactly what the website relaunch was all about. A design with flexible information blocks that provides orientation on the home page and the target group pages for students and teachers. Previously, the team had organized the competitions largely manually, using Excel spreadsheets and individual emails.
Implementation
First, we evaluated and restructured the content. This resulted in clearly defined content elements, which we transferred into a modern, uncluttered screen design. With color coding for the respective target groups and, of course, barrier-free.
In the internal area, students register for competitions and submit their entries. The “Jugend präsentiert” team keeps track of everything in the admin area, manages registrations, and controls the entries through all phases of the competition. Teachers book training sessions, take on jury duties, and evaluate the entries assigned to them directly in the system.
Impact
After several joint iterations, almost all processes related to the Jugend präsentiert competitions and training courses are now digital. From registration to travel expense reimbursement. Students can find the information they need at every stage, prepare specifically for the competition, and concentrate fully on their presentation. This saves the team time and allows them to focus more on what really matters: promoting young people's presentation skills.
