Thomas Schmidt

Thomas has been the frontend developer at Sinnwerkstatt since 2014. He ensures great usability for our websites and guides the users eyes to the most important content. He writes the WordPress themes for blogs and smaller associations. For larger Django projects he develops the templates with jQuery-Scripts.

Thomas Schmidt released the very first website of a school in lower Saxony in 1996. As a freelancer he’s been developing media concepts on the internet since 1998. He generated a tool for Wikipedia, which shows for each word who and when wrote what. To spread free knowledge has since then become his top priority. At the TU Braunschweig he researched the informal education of doctors on the internet. After a short detour to photography of ecological fashion, he joined us at Sinnwerkstatt in 2014.
