Jonas Frankki was born in Sweden, he is the art director in the film department at Sinnwerkstatt. He runs and manages the animations projects and also get his hands dirty at times. He illustrates and develops graphics and characters. He focuses on both the graphics and descriptive storytelling. Jonas gives his all and more to be sure that the Sinnwerkstatt produces dynamic, amusing and attention grabbing videos.
Jonas and the film team developed the concept, storytelling and the illustration for clients such as Oxfam. He developed the style and illustration for the Greenpeace film as well as being responsible for the directing and editing. He used his skills in the same vain for the Viva con Agua and Verkehrsclub Deutschland videos developing the style, illustration and editing, acting also as director as well for the latter.
Jonas has a diploma in cultural project management from Kulturverkstan Gothenburg, Sweden. In 2006 he began working for the politically active art collective Telecommunisten, participating in a numerous amount of exhibitions around the world. He also took part in the conference series “Distruption Network Lab in Berlin”. From 2008 to 2012 he worked for Convince in Aarhus, Denmark as an art director. For the four years beforehand he earned his way as a freelance graphic designer, illustrator and motion designer.
